Avon Valley Bushfires - Rail Network Delays

Pacific National have advised that the mainline between Midland and Avon Yard has been closed due to bushfires in Avon Valley.

At this stage, the mainline remains closed until further notice.  We are expecting 2 -3 days delays in our network however with the weather conditions ever changing this may cause further delays.

This advice is being provided to assist customers with planning for the inevitable flow on effects that will result from vehicles being delayed in transit.

We are actively managing the situation by communicating revised ETA’s where applicable and we will continue to do everything possible to minimise the inconvenience to our customers.
