CEVA Network Flooding Delays - QLD

28 February 2022

Update 01-Mar-2022:

Our CEVA depot is now open for drop-off and collections between 8.00am and 2.00pm – the shortened hours are required to accommodate staffing shortages as some remain isolated from the facility.

Our local collection and delivery services are operational, though some services will not be available due to access as we negotiate road closures.  Rural services have commenced, however, road closures particularly with the closure North of Gympie are impacting these services.

CEVA Queensland staff are actively managing the situation, both operationally and the communication to customers who are impacted by the delay to services.

Recent heavy rainfall and intense weather have caused significant areas of flooding in South East Queensland (Brisbane) and Nothern Rivers (Lismore, and Toowoomba).  All collections and deliveries throughout Brisbane and Queensland are affected. Brisbane Depot will also be closed today, 28th February 2022 with staff working from home.  Local operations will resume tomorrow, 1st March 2022, once weather conditions improve.
