Lanes: Northern Territory into Western Australia and South Australia
The Victoria River The Victoria River has peaked at ~ 22 metres, with approx. 1 metre of water covering the bridge.
We foresee that we will be looking at, (at least) 12 days delay on this lane. We may have to revert to bring freight through SA if the road conditions are as bad as we believe they may be. Photos from Victoria Road House from social media.

Northern Territory
Currently flooding has caused the closure of the Victoria Bridge closing the highway.
We foresee a delay of approx. 5 business days however this may vary on freight travelling from Perth – Darwin - Perth.
One Kilometre stretch of the Stuart Highway between The Carpentaria and the Dunmurra intersection is flooded and not passable.
We foresee an approximate delay to services of 5 – 8 business days and will keep you advised for services to Darwin – Adelaide – Darwin.
Tennant Creek and Darwin are also set to receive deluge rainfall.
Northern Queensland
Tropical Low is expected to turn cyclonic by 4am tomorrow morning. At this stage, predictions are showing it heading between Townsville and Bowen as a Cat 3 cyclone (soon to be named Kirrily) and will make landfall on Thursday
We foresee an approximate delay to services of between 5 – 7 business days, as we manage the initial flow on effect from previous flooding in this area and the consequent road repairs, and now the new weather conditions.
Townsville is expecting anything from 20 to 120mm of rain on Thursday and up to 35mm on Australia Day.

Due to the ongoing flooding situation in Katherine, WA, we regret to inform you that services between Perth and Darwin and return routes, have been temporarily suspended.
The extensive flooding in North Western NSW and Far North Coast NSW is also affecting transit times, and we appreciate your understanding as we navigate these challenging local conditions.
