The QLD – NT- QLD corridor has opened and we are clearing the backlog of freight ex NT into QLD,
NSW and ACT, and the reverse lanes and we are now looking at reduced delays of approx 3-5 days.

There is still flooding at Julia Creek with the road closed. This causing a 3-5 days delay into NT ex

As always, we are actively managing these unforeseen adverse events, and will keep clients and your
teams updated, however we do ask that your sales teams be mindful of the above delays when
booking vehicles in for transport.

NT – Eastern States - NT & North QLD Flooding

The roads are now open on the QLD NT QLD corridor thankfully, with our trucks now getting through. Our branches will be contacting clients in relation to the local deliveries. There will be obvious delays as we clear the back log of freight and we envisage that it may take an additional 5 days.

NT – Eastern States - NT & North QLD Flooding

The NT to QLD/NSW corridor remains closed at time of writing in various locations with floodwater over roads, predominantly the Finders Highway from Cloncurry to Richmond remains closed, and the Landsborough Highway between Cloncurry and Winton. Rain has ceased in this area, however Winton remains isolated with emergency services working in the area as 180mm of rain fell Saturday.

We have received some communication of roads being open on Wednesday subject to there being no infrastructure damage, and no further rain.

We are looking at significant delays of approx. 10-12 business days into, ex, and indeed via these regions.

We will of course be monitoring the situation closely. Further updates will be provided as they come to hand, however if you have any questions, please reach out us at ccc@cevalogistics.com

The NT to QLD corridor remains closed at time of writing in various locations with floodwater over roads, predominantly the Finders Highway from Cloncurry to Richmond remains closed, and the Landsborough Highway between Cloncurry and Winton. A second severe weather warning in the west has now been issued with the current low sitting inland. This has the potential of dumping a further 100mm of rain on an already soaked region. (Some parts of the region had 600mm of rain yesterday.)

At time of writing we are looking now at significant delays of approx. 7-10 business days into and ex these regions.

Roads are currently closed north of Ingham and between Richmond and Cloncurry due to flooding from heavy rainfall overnight. We expect delays of up to 5 days as a results of the closures. Further
significant rainfall is forecasted throughout the day in the region, with more road closures expected.

In addition, the Finders highway from Cloncurry to Richmond has been closed, and the Landsborough Highway closed between Cloncurry and Winton, which will impact freight travelling into and ex NT.
Rain is continuing to fall with another 50-100ml expected today. We currently have road-trains stabled until the water recedes and the infrastructure can be inspected, however at this stage we expect,
again, delays of approximately 5 days into and ex NT from the east.
